random morning musings
What I love about the MTA strike: Gay men. They know how to prioritize. Not 30 minutes following the announcement of the transit strike, delightful horny queers started putting up Craigslist annonces searching for "strike booty". My favorite headlines - "fem bttm seeking transit men/blue collar to suck" (what a way to express empathy and appreciation for the working boys, eh?) and "Daddy needs oral attention during strike!" (best excuse for Daddy/boy play I've seen in a while).
What I hate about the MTA strike: As much time as I spend in NYC, I still sleep and store my shit in Jersey. All our trains are functional (at least, as functional as NJ Transit ever is). Unfortunately, the folks at my job are aware of this. So I still have to go to work, because the PATH station is like two blocks away from my goddamn office. Worse than that, the gorgeous butch in the mailroom is not going to be in, because she lives so deep in Brooklyn that travel sans subway/bus service is prohibitive. Thus, no eye candy for The Ju. Boo.
I should totally be packing for the holiday weekend. I should be sweeping the kitchen floor, brewing tea, readying myself for the day. But fuck that - Me'shell is on right now, and I consider it sacrilege to interrupt.
